Wedding videographer
in Dordogne, France.
Getting married in the Périgord? I’m Nicolas, an English-speaking wedding videographer based in Dordogne. I film destination weddings across the region — châteaux above the river, vineyards around Bergerac, the honey-stone villages of Sarlat — with a discreet presence and a cinematic eye.
Why couples choose the Dordogne
The Dordogne is one of France’s most loved destination wedding regions: golden stone, medieval villages, châteaux perched above winding rivers, long summer evenings and some of the best food and wine in the country. It’s a natural film set — especially at golden hour, when the light rolls across the valleys.
Whether your venue is near Sarlat, Bergerac, Brantôme, Ribérac or deep in the countryside, I know the region, its distances and its light. That means calm, well-planned coverage: timings, the best spots for portraits, and drone flights where they’re allowed.
A local videographer, planning in English
Many of the couples marrying in the Périgord live in the UK, Ireland, the US or elsewhere. We can plan everything in English by video call and email, and I’m happy to work alongside your venue, planner and photographer. On the day, I move easily between English- and French-speaking guests.
How I film your day
- Everything captured: getting ready, ceremony, speeches, the party — so nothing is lost.
- Clean sound: dedicated microphones for vows and speeches.
- Aerial footage: drone shots of your venue and the landscape, within French regulations.
- A fast teaser: delivered within about ten days, full film within 3 to 5 weeks.
Choose a half day, a full day (around 14 hours) or a Premium production with a multi-camera crew and a dedicated reels creator. See the packages. I also travel across France and abroad.

How much does a wedding videographer in Dordogne cost?+
It depends on the hours of coverage and the content you want: half day, full day or a premium multi-camera production. Every wedding gets a personalised quote, with any travel costs set out clearly from the start.
Do you speak English?+
Yes. We can plan everything in English, and I work comfortably with English-speaking couples, families and guests on the day.
We live abroad — can we plan everything remotely?+
Absolutely. Most destination couples plan by video call and email. I can also liaise with your venue or planner in France.
How far in advance should we book?+
Saturdays from May to September book up quickly, often 12 to 18 months ahead. For autumn or weekday weddings, a few months can be enough.
When will we receive our film?+
Your teaser arrives within about ten days, the full film within 3 to 5 weeks.
